IU International University of Applied Sciences is a private, accredited university based in Erfurt, Germany. Established in 1998, today it is Germany’s largest university, offering campus-based in-person, online, and blended-learning programs in German and English.

Our partnership with IU allows CaribAbroad Academy to offer access to education and training programmes at a fraction of the cost of other tertiary institutions, in or outside of the region. Join online for the most affordable and flexible way to earn your degree or certificate in English.
Flexible
Online programs allow students to set their own learning pace according to their lifestyle and needs. Students can switch between full-time and part-time study modes at no additional cost or fees. With rolling admissions students begin study as soon as they are ready and have paid their low tuition. IU also allows students to test the program for one month.
Students who may also need to work or adult learners with families have the flexibility to start and progress at their own pace.

Admission Requirements
Bachelor Degree programs require A level subjects in the relevant disciplines. Students can choose to obtain their A level subjects from Cambridge International School through IU at no additional cost!
Masters Degree programs require a Bachelors degree in the relevant subject area. Work experience can also be applied in certain subject areas.
Online certificate programs have no admission prerequisites.
