STUDY CONTENTS

Programme overview

In the Aviation Management Bachelor study programme, you’ll develop all of the necessary skills for launching a career in the global aviation industry. You’ll start by developing basic business administration knowledge, along with familiarising yourself with academic work.

Later on, you’ll go into exploration of some of the more complex aspects of aviation management, along with more general management principles. You’ll learn about the international institutions and the regulatory frameworks that make up the aviation industry, to best prepare you for your future professional challenges in this field.

To top off your Aviation Management Bachelor’s studies, you’ll get to choose the elective modules that best suit your interest and ambitions: you can focus on urban air mobility, sustainability and environment in aviation or innovation and digitalisation in aviation, among many others. You’ll also have a chance to test your skills as an airline manager using our unique simulation game, and get a better understanding of how the aviation management profession works in real life.

Airline/Air Cargo Flight Operations Manager

As a flight operations manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring proper terminal operations, looking after staffing, protocol adherence and budget. Work on running flight operations as safely and efficiently as possible, and manage your staff, so they’re up for the task. In addition, you’ll also be handling interactions between customers, airline/air cargo companies and employees, which will give you a chance to fully develop your management and conflict-resolution skills.
